The leaves are changing and falling to the ground leaving beautiful colors, scents and that crunchy sound the kids love when they step down! In case, your yard is lacking those big beautiful trees that have leaves to rake up and jump in, we created this list of awesome events that are kid friendly and full of fun!

2.) Apple Picking at Monnin’s Fruit Farm
Monday through Saturday 8a-6p
Sunday 9a-5p
A personal favorite for my family as it is self-guided so we can take all of the time we need for me to capture “that perfect picture”, look at the different bugs climbing on the rotten apples that have fallen and finding the ladders so we can get the good apples on the top of trees! This is also a great place to get pumpkins, fall décor and harvest goodies like cider and fresh Amish baked goods!

3.) GLOW: Nature at Night!

The Farm will be glowing! LED performers and musical entertainment will be present both nights! There will be fun glow in the dark activities and games also! Go on a hike by flashlight, roast hot dogs and make s’mores or enjoy food available to you by area food trucks!

4.) Third Sunday Outdoor Market

Spend the afternoon with The Dayton Philharmonic as they celebrate with this spooky tradition. Eerie music performed in different formats will bring adults and children together to celebrate this fun time of year! Come early for treats and activities for the whole family!
6.) Aqua-Tots Fall Splash Festival
2451 Lakeview Dr., Beavercreek
1p-4p
Open family swim from 1:30 – 3:30 PM with boat races, ring diving, and games led by your favorite coaches! Hot dogs and hamburgers will be available for purchase, along with our usual snacks and drinks. There will also be mini-pumpkin painting, corn hole games, face painting, and giveaways! Make sure to stop by our photo booth and receive a photo to take home of your family.
This event is open to members and non-members.
7.) Fall Farm Fest at Lost Creek

The festival offers a six-acre corn maze, corn cannon, music, food, wagon rides, a scarecrow contest, children’s games, demonstrations, vendors, display booths, farm animals, Kiddie Tractor Pull, a pumpkin patch, face painting, cowboy demonstrations and more.

9.) Cowvin’s Corny Maze

Every day until Oct. 29th from 11:00a to 6p
This maze is designed with the littles in mind so you shouldn’t get lost and it last 20 – 40 minutes so it should keep their interest! The price is $6.50 (ages 5 and up) and children under 5 are free! Children 11 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

10.) Ohio Renaissance Festival

Every day until Oct. 29th from 10:30a to 6p
We would be crazy not to mention this festival! There is so much to see and do and EAT! Entertainment includes jousting, musicians, dancers, storytellers, costumed performers and more. Prepare to fill you tummy with delicious foods like giant turkey legs, stuffed potatoes, bread bowls and lots of dessert and drink options.
Cost: Adults is $22.50, Children 5-12 are $9.50 and under 5 are free!
11.) AquaTots Trunk or Treat
716 N. Main Street, Springboro
Saturday, October 28th 2p to 5p
Come in costume and trick or treat in a fun and safe environment. There will be free food, crafts, games, bounce house, open swim, raffle, and more!
