Tutankhamun – His Tomb and His Treasures is coming to COSI March 18, 2023, and tickets are on sale now. Celebrating 100 years of discovery, this fascinating exhibit will take you through his life and time. Experience the burial chambers and treasures of the King exactly as they were discovered in 1922. 2) Rock Your Homework with Dayton Metro Library
Monday-Thursday 3-6pm Winter/Spring Session Jan-May 25
No appointment needed. Drop in (check website for locations) for students K-12 for homework, project or subject practice. Also available are free STEAM activities, games, reading coaching, computers and printing.
3) Shamrock Walk with New Carlisle Library
Wednesday March 1 1-2pm at Smith Park
Guided nature walk through Smith Park looking for Shamrocks, listening to a story and playing a game.
4) Teddy Bear Clinic with Washington Centerville Library
Wednesday March 1 6:30-7:30pm Centerville Branch
Open House style hosted by Shriners Children’s Ohio, children ages 2-5 bring their stuffie for a check up. Older siblings welcome in this experience to lower possible doctor or hospital worries.
5) The Great Pancake Pickup with Greene County Parks and Trails
Saturday March 4 8:30-11am GCPT Headquarters 635 Dayton-Xenia Rd
FREE event powered by donations, drive through Greene County Parks and Trails Headquarters for pancakes with local made syrup and a side of bacon. See map for best route.
6) Superhero Academy with Rachel Bakes & Co
Thursday March 9 6-9pm
For ages 3+ come dressed as a superhero and meet some in person. Games and coloring with pictures, too.
7) Make Art Like: Ed Emberly with Wright Memorial Library
Sunday March 12 2-4pm
Recommended for ages 5-10, come explore the art style of children’s illustrator, Ed Emberly. Play clothes highly recommend.
8) It Comes Full Circle: Pi Day Hike with Centerville Washington Park Department
Tuesday March 14 5-6:30pm Forest Field Park
Follow a 3.14 or 1 mile hike with a limited amount of custom stickers and treats at the end. Walk-ups welcome, preregistration preferred.
9) Open Mic Nights with Clark County Public Library
Thursday March 16 5-7 Main Springfield Branch
Monthly on the third Thursday, come to share your acoustic talent for 15 minutes. Ages 13+ call ahead to reserve your spot on a first come first serve basis.
10) Discovering Fossils with the Fossil Guy with Dayton Metro Library

Jim Carr, the Fossil Guy, presents fossils found in Ohio and throughout the United States.
