Bogg Bags have become increasingly popular in recent years (yes, they resemble a Croc shoe). You can even find a wide variety of knock-offs if you do not want to splurge on the name brand. I caved in and bought a large pink Bogg Bag last summer. I must say, it has been my ultimate summer essential. I take the bag to the pool multiple times a week, and it fits so much stuff.
My family has a pool pass for the summer, and we always pack a decent amount of things to bring with us, everything from sunscreen to food. I am going to share with all of you readers my summer pool bag must-haves.
Sunscreen
SPF is important! Always make sure that you have options. We always have a few different kids (sprays, sticks, and lotion), and, of course, same for adults.
Wet bags
These little bags are great to toss wet items in. The best part? They are not big, so no space is wasted.
Sunglasses
Protecting our eyes from UV rays is important. I always make sure to leave a few extra cheap pairs of glasses in the Bogg Bag (you never know who will forget theirs).
Snackle box
The increasingly popular snackle box is a must. You can put a variety of snacks all in one box, instead of packing boxes/bags for each food item.
Goggles
It seems without fail that my kids are always needing goggles. I mean who wants chlorine in their eyes?
Hair ties
All you moms and women know that these always disappear or break.
Towels
This item is a no-brainer. We are able to fit all of our towels (rolled up) into one bag.
Dive sticks
I feel like kids are always wanting the classic dive sticks. I always leave them in the bag because they would be upset if we left them behind.
Puddle jumper
My youngest is 2 and still learning to swim. I always make sure that his puddle jumper is clipped around the handle of the bag.
Small portable fan
We have a few battery-operated fans that we keep in our bag. I cannot tell you how many times these have come in handy.
